đ¸ Real Concerns, Real Answers
Letâs talk about the fears we donât always say out loud.
If youâve ever thought âthis probably isnât for meâŚâ youâre not alone.
Here are some of the most common worriesâand the truth behind them.
Â
Q: What if I donât have enough time?
A: You donât need hours a dayâyou just need small pockets of focused time.
With done-for-you digital products, so much of the hard work is already done. You can build at your own pace, even if itâs just an hour a few days a week.
âI started building this during nights and weekends while running the office for my husbandâs business full-time.â
Q: Iâve never done anything like this before⌠can I really learn?
A: Absolutely. You donât need tech skills, a business background, or a big social following.
Everything is beginner-friendly, step-by-step, and designed to make it simple.
âI had no experience eitherâbut I followed my curiosity, trusted the process, and grew confidence with every step.â
Q: Am I too old to start something new?
A: Not even close. And if your in the realm of midlife, like me, is actually the perfect time. You have wisdom, purpose, and a deeper âwhy.â Thatâs powerful.
âI started learning this at 45âin the middle of perimenopause, working full-time, and grieving an empty nest. That season is exactly what pushed me to create something for me.â
Q: What if Iâve already tried and failed at things before?
A: That doesnât mean youâre not capable. It just means you didnât have the right support or model before.
This isnât about pushing productsâitâs about adding value, building real freedom, and doing it your way.
âIâve tried all kinds of things in the pastâMLMs, side hustles, dabbling in digital stuff⌠but nothing really clicked until this. It felt aligned. It felt possible.â
Q: What if I feel stuck, unsure, or not confident?
A: Thatâs okay. You donât need to have it all figured out.
You just need to start. Confidence builds with each step you takeâand thatâs what weâre here for.
âSome days I still doubt myself. But the version of me who started⌠would be so proud I didnât give up.â
Q: What if my mindset is the thing holding me back?
A: Youâre not alone. Most women donât struggle with how to build an online businessâthey struggle with believing they can.
Thatâs why mindset work is such a big part of what we talk about here.
âI realized early on that if I didnât change how I saw myself⌠nothing else would change either. Thatâs why personal development and self-image work have been such a huge part of my journey.â
And hereâs the best part:
Many of the digital products youâll find inside DRI actually focus on mindset, self-growth, and personal empowerment.
You can use them for yourself and sell them to help other women grow too. đą
đď¸ Behind the Brand: Maraâs Real Talk
The honest answers to questions youâd probably ask me over coffee.
Q: How did you get started with digital products?
A: I started in one of the hardest seasons of my lifeâmy mid-40s. I was grieving my daughters leaving the nest, navigating perimenopause, and running the office full-time for my husbandâs business.
I didnât have much time, energy, or clarity⌠but I knew I wanted something of my own. Something that felt meaningful, allowed time and location freedom, and gave me options for the future.
So I started researching onlineâjust trying to figure out what was even possible. I didnât know what I was looking for exactly, but I did know what I didnât want:
â I didnât want to push products I didnât believe in
â I didnât want to cold-message people like Iâd done in past MLMs
â And I didnât want to feel salesy or fake
Then I came across women learning digital marketingâand I realized how huge this world was.
There were people building income streams from home, in their own time, selling digital products online. Thatâs when I discovered MRR and PLRâdigital products that you can resell or customize as your own and keep 100% of the profit.
I was so intrigued. But Iâll be honestâit was overwhelming at first. I bought several courses, tried to piece it all together, and quickly realized:
đ You donât need to spend thousands
đ You do need the right support
Things finally started to click when I found a mentorship that simplified the process and made me feel supported. Thatâs when it all started to shift.
Q: How did you learn all of this?
A: Honestly? By being curious and willing to figure it out as I went.
There were plenty of ups and downs in my business journeyâand looking back, that was exactly what I needed. I was already in a major life transition, and this path forced me to dig deep, shift my mindset, and get out of my own way.
Itâs become one of the most transformational things Iâve done for my confidence and self-belief.
I invested in multiple coursesâsome helpful, some overwhelmingâbut the real shift happened when I found the right mentorship program that simplified everything and gave me real support. (Shout out to Brit + Ness!)
But it wasnât instant. I took messy action, made mistakes, and had to learn how to âfail forward.â
There were moments I genuinely wanted to quitâand to be honest, I did step back for a few months at one point.
But the ideas and possibilities wouldnât stop calling me. I realized that if I walked away, Iâd regret it.
At first, I had that âall or nothingâ mindsetâI wanted everything to click overnight. I thought I had to have it all figured out from day one.
But what really worked?
đ Taking small, intentional steps
đ Having a clear plan
đ Celebrating the little wins
Every time I moved forwardâeven just a littleâit built my confidence and reminded me: I can do this.
Q: Did you ever want to give up?
A: So many times.
There were moments when I felt completely discouragedâlike maybe this wasnât going to work for me. Iâd second-guess myself, compare my progress to others, and wonder if I was just wasting my time.
But what kept me going was the belief that I was meant for more.
I wasnât ready to settle for just going through the motions of life.
My early 40s were honestly one of the hardest stages of my life.
My daughters left the nest, and suddenly I went from being a full-time stay-at-home momâmy identity for over two decadesâto asking, Who am I now? What do I even want?
That grief, confusion, and in-between season cracked something open in me.
This wasnât just about making money online or trying something new.
This was about finding a new purpose, something of my ownâsomething that would give me both fulfillment and flexibility.
I craved the feeling of building something that was mine.
Something I could point to and say:
âI did that. Every small win, every skill Iâm learningâI created this.â
And thatâs what kept pulling me forward, even when things felt hard.
Â
Q: What if I donât have support from my family or friends?
A: I totally get it. Iâve felt that too.
To be honest⌠I donât even share this journey with most of my closest friends.
Sometimes, the people we love most just donât share the same passions, goals, or that deep, soul-level pull of:
âI feel like Iâm meant for more than what Iâm currently doing.â
And when someone doesnât feel that themselves, theyâll never fully understand your drive to build something of your own.
Truthfully? The digital world is something many people in my life just donât get.
They donât see the possibilities, the scale, or the growth potential in this industryâso I stopped trying to explain it.
Instead, I kept my head down, stayed in my lane, and reminded myself:
âIf she can do it⌠why not me? Why canât I claim a small piece of this $800 billion+ industry too?â
In the beginning, your dream is fragile.
Youâre building belief. Youâre nurturing something brand new. And it takes real mindset work just to keep showing up.
Thatâs why I kept my goals close to my heart.
I didnât even tell my husband at first.
(Iâm not necessarily recommending that, by the way đ
)
But I knew that if someoneâeven unintentionallyâsaid, âWhat makes you think you can do that?â it could crush a dream I hadnât fully built belief in yet.
Not everyone will understand this path. And thatâs okay. They donât have to.
This is your dream.
And sometimes⌠you have to believe in it before anyone else will.
Thatâs why Iâm so passionate about building a community where women feel supported, encouraged, and seen.
You donât have to do this alone anymore.
